After a cold and rainy October, we've enjoyed some beautiful weather here in the last week. Unfortunately, we spent most of last week inside with Joshua, during his first experience with the stomach flu. Lots of bottles of Pedialyte, 3 days out of daycare and work, and endless loads of laundry later, Joshua was finally up to getting out and enjoying the outdoors this weekend.
Our plan for a walk didn't quite go as intended. A certain little boy threw a fit when we tried to put him in the stroller. So we let him out to run off some energy...

He then made it clear he had no real objections to the stroller itself - he just wanted to be the one doing the pushing.

He is such a cutie. I hate the flu, especially with kids. They don't puke into anything, but seem to puke on things you don't want puked on! I've noticed Chas has been acting very much the same as Joshua - are they communicating without either of us knowing?
Sorry to hear Joshua had the flu. The worse, huh. Looks like a great fall walk. Watch it, he is priming for his terrible TWO'S. The fun is just starting.
Glad to hear that he is doing better!!
Just keep letting Joshua get lots of fresh air and exercise (if pushing the stroller counts?) through this BEAUTIFUL stretch of fall weather. We sure are enjoying it here on the farm, especially for the harvest. Come on down anytime for Joshua to enjoy riding in lots of things with his favorite - "wheels"!
I forgot how horrible the flu is with little kids till you mentioned the Pedialyte! Glad you made it through and survived and were even able to go on a nice walk.
